Managed to spend my first APG voucher for just over £11 last night, was half expecting a trouting, but nothing at all. In-fact, the SA was really intrigued about it - as he said he'd had one earlier in the day where the lady had spent £20 ish, but got one for £15.

I just said I had no idea and I was just as surprised as he is when I got it.

Hope everyone has a lovely day/weekend.

Wombled a dog on my way home from work this morning ;)
It followed me when i had crossed main road.

When i got in a safe spot away from main road i called it to me and it came had collar on and address. :( was a scruffy thin wet looking thing. :(

Phoned number and owner answered dog had been missing think she said 4 days was in hysterics it had travelled from near Halifax she asked if i could hold onto Noodles til she got dressed and down. :j

She picked it up 20 mins ago i had fed and given him a drink and had him locked in kitchen. He was good sat there shivering all time. My Poppy wasnt very happy didnt let them meet.

Got offered a fiver but i refused was just happy Noodles found his mummy. Poor woman looked like she had been crying on way down and Noodles nearly jumped in her arms wagging his tail. :T :j

Aww tweets, what a lovely thing to do, you must have made the dog and his mum very happy. He obviously knew what a good 'un you are - dogs do, you know! :A

Oooh don't make me cry this early in the morning!
Well done for rescuing Noodles :T
It's so lovely when owners and pets can be reunited and you can see the love between the two of them. I found a cat once that had been missing for a few weeks - I called the owners - not so much as a thank you!
I also rescued two dogs at the side of the road, both of which had been hit by cars and both had broken legs. I stayed with them the whole time whilst waiting for the emergency vets to come out. I rang the vets every day to find out how they were doing and if the owner came forward. After about 2 weeks the owner had finally been found, the vet I spoke to on the phone was absolutley appalled as he'd not even said thank you to the vets or even bother to ask how they were found!

    Good morning all.

Just popped into A's on my way to work, Chrome on the shelf at £1.24, popped a few packs in the trolley, went back to put some more into the trolley and the SEL had been changed to £4.78 and scanned at that so left them there:(

They are priced at £4.00 in ours. So didn't bother.

Aww lovely story for this morning.
Big :T:T:T for you Tweets, a lot of other people probably wouldn't have bothered.

    Morning all

Just in the process of putting a litte T's list together using my coupons. Could really do with doing a 'proper' shop but cba, it's so much more fun doing a coupon one and seeing how little I can pay and if I can get a porkie back :rotfl:So far it looks like

    Dairlylea £.125
    Medium Eggs £1.59
    Milk £1.18
    Non Bio Gel £2.19
    Kleenex Absorbing wipes £1.49
    Reloaded Can £1.85
    Gillette Mach 3 Blades £6.89
Bear Yo Yo's 50p (I think, can't find them atm!)
    Beans! £0.85

    Total £17.79.
    Total Coupons £8.44 + a £2.60 womble = £11.04
A till spit for 200 points when buying the razor blades (which might turn out to be the wrong ones ;) )

Total to pay £6.75 And hopefully a Porkie of £2.20 or there abouts.

Here's hoping it goes to plan

ETA Forgot the Beans  :rotfl:

Showing on sada.com at £4.78 now. Showing on mysupermarket at £1.24.Think this mis-price is over now.

Bought 2 only last night after traipsing around 4 stores for hours . I wish I would include petrol and my time into my calculations as I would probably then cut down on the wild goose chases :o.

The SEL said £3.98 if i recall but tried it at the till and it went through at £1.24. Tried one last night, very nice (like Miller Genuine Draft) but wish I could find more! But it appears to have gone back up in price now from what you say.

    Many thanks
