Today I took a bag of batter mix and instant custard sachets to my local food bank (Trussell Trust, they have branches all over). While I was there I picked up a leaflet, with a list of non-perishable food that is needed to make up boxes for families in crisis. Sort of wish I had bought rice pud and instant mash instead of the batter mix and custard.

Here's the list if anyone has surplus supplies now or in the future and would like to donate.

    Milk (UHT or powered)
    Sugar
    Fruit Juice (carton)
    Soup
    Pasta Sauces
    Sponge Pudding (tinned)
    Tomatoes (tinned)
    Cereals
    Rice Puddind (tinned)
    Tea bags/inst coffee
    Instant Mash Potato
    Rice/Pasta
    Tinned Meat/Fish
    Tinned Fruit
    Jam
    Biscuits or snack bars

Now that A's glitch is over here are some things I've noticed that might be worth looking out for

T's have put the Olympic Heroes Chocolates (the bus shaped tin) back up to £7. This has previously been BOGOF or Half Price so potential for OOD sels leading to DTD (depending on when it went to £7 as I haven't been in Ts for ages obviously :rotfl:)

I got an email from Ellas Kitchen today to say that Sainsburys have 25% off the Ellas Kitchen range. I thought that would mean we could buy in A's and get an extra 10% off Mr S's 25% off promo. :j Only problem is there no promo showing for me on S.com or MSM. :( Email doesn't say when offer starts or if it is selected stores/countries. Might be worth keeping an eye on

T's new Real Food magazine has a MOC for 75p off any chockabloks (thanks to Looby123 here). I noticed today that they are on offer of 2 for £2 in T's right now :D

I thought I had something else to share but if I did I can't remember it. If it comes back to me I'll let you know

Finally remembered.....and it wasn't really worth waiting for :rotfl:

I scanned all the Olympic chocs yesterday, Fathers Day choc medal and Dads Half Time TCO. None of this even close to 1p yet :(
