Got ideal home show tickets for the wednesday. :j So pleased because I had organised a few friends to go to the summer show, even found a minibus that would work out cheaper than the train, then I needed an operation and had to pull out - so they all went without me :(

    Hi All

Has been a beautiful day here by the sea. Lots of sunshine and all washing dry.
Just unpacked my 3rd and final BS order (ok wanted box to store 12 x 12 papers in). Candle glass broken.
Was worried about phoning cs but they were really nice and sending a replacement. Now need to find tough gloves to take candle out of holder as it will make a perfect refill.
Had a basic trip to asda with mum as fancied a curry for tea.
Feeling out of the loop as no tesco vouchers or boots vouchers in post for me today.

My DD also didn't get a marathon place for next year. as she has just had baby she is not too upset and was pleasently suprised by free jacket. Her plan is to apply every year as after fouth unsucessful application you are guaranteed a place fifth time.
My sister has a place as she couldn't run this year due to injury. She is quite fanatical about running and has run quite a few including the 5 in 5 days for the Forces. My BIL has run his 100 now. It was his goal to join the marathon elite. He has done the Forces 5 in 5 days and 10 in 10 days and latest was the double marathon in Iceland over the summer.
Not an MSE hobby for them but as they both entered their 50's this year I am very proud.
