Yeah its a stand alone, just run it as and when you want. When you install uncheck the option for the free trail. Once installed and updated, goto the settings tab, untick everything apart from 'Create right click context menu' and 'warn if database is out of date' then your good to go.

Make sure you update it before running, and run it in full scan mode. It wil take a while to run but it will find nasties that arent always classed as a virus.. ;)

Download the Freebie version from your link

I've used the free version of AVG for years now & never had any problems with it. I also use Superantispyware free edition. I tend to run that more than AVG as it seems to be quicker & easier to use. It picks up Adware cookies

Peerblock is also something that I'd recommend

I did use AVG for a long time too but they started having registry issues that caused it to think you wernt registered, not good for something thats meant to scan the registry. Superantispyware is good too, have the portable version in my toolkit

    Evening Elite!

Since the forum has been down and Mr A is no longer giving me copious amounts of haircare, cereal and Iams :j I figured I would put together a shopping list for Mr T  instead.

My cat Bertie regularly shops at T£sco :D and therefore needs his own clubcard...said clubcard sent me some conditional spends today!:j

    So my list is

    6 x Red Square Reloaded
4 x Chokablok (3 different types of choc bar I believe at 2 for £2)
2 x Kit Kat 8 packs (:T Thanks to OP that pointed out the new coupon from Nestle LoveBrands:T)
    1 x Andrex Quilts ;)
1 x Beanz although possibly more now they are 50p at A's :j
    1 x Greens with coupon

Less £3 WYS £20, total to pay should be about £1 if I'm right with all my coupons:T:T:T

And it should give me a free washlets till spit and about £5.44 on PP back?

Can anyone see any possible glaring errors?[/QUOTE

Thanks, great list so I'm gonna pinch it, hope that's ok. Is Bertie shopping today as I would love to see that :rotfl: x

No not today lol he will be mostly working his way through a mountain of Iams - if he had his way!:D
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Oh forgot about room sprays 24p, pot purri refreshener 64p for two, pillar candles 74p and other bits.
I hope everyone has a great day.
