I was very excited to see a clubcard mailing this morning but that didnt last for long. Its 5 weeks of conditional spends
    £4 wys £40
and the 1st one is £6 wys £40 - might use that one as I have a £3 wys £20 to go with it.

This is for an almost dormant account that I only spend £1 on maybe 2 or 3 times a month

Even so what to spend £40 on - its just about possible to spend £20 in T but only when I have enough MOCS.

I suppose if I do a similar shop to yesterday, use the double points voucher as well. I've got an extra points voucher for spending £8 on clothing - yes its a very odd ammount! Also I was going to get a finest meal deal this weekend to treat OH for putting up with me whilst the APG glitch was running (also got points, MOCs for finest and one of the wines should produce a TPP) So thats £8 clothes (tights and undies), £10 meal deal and £22 odd MOC shop.

Just about scrape together a £40 list this week.

I am the same. I'm not even dressed yet, still in my PJ's:rotfl:

Same here, the thing is with the APG thingy, whatever the weather or how busy things were or how complicated the day you just had to get up, get organised, showered and dressed and ready to go and then everything else just flowed. I think its going to take us a few days to adjust and get back to doing all of the stuff we did before this all started :rotfl:

  • Carling Chrome update..

Just back from A's having been on a beer run for the £1.24 Chrome. SEL said £4.78 reduced to £4.00 and it scanned at £4.00 too. :(:(

Don't know if this means that the offer is not available in all stores or whether A's have fixed yet another error.

Hi Shortfatscotsbloke, some posters have reported it's scanning like that for them and others are getting it at the cheaper price, it seems to vary on a store by store basis.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Feeling a bit teary tonight, my sister is leaving in the morning to go traveling for a few years :( I have no idea when I'll see her again. We've become quite close in the last year so it's going to be tough. I'm really happy for her and I'm completely and utterly jealous but I wish it wasn't for so long :(

    Ah hugs to you xxx

I put some petrol in at the BP garage the other day - petrol prices seem to be fixed at about £1.36 everywhere around here so i thought I might as well as you get nectar points. I also got a slip to say Id won 25 nectar points - staggered, never won anything so utterly tiny :rotfl:

MY OH said I was like someone with very bad PMT, I was so totally wound up and fixated on the shopping list and getting through the tills with no problems - but I am like this wether its an APG or a MOC shop in any store.
If he asked for anything to be added to the list he would get his head bitten off, even worse if he asked in the car en route to the store :rotfl:

Ah so wasn't just me then! I am going to drag OH over to show him this when he gets in from work :rotfl:

    G'day Peeps and Peepettes 49.gif

Too much calvados last night means feeling very fragile. I can't remember who was serving last night, but awoke in small hours crashed out on the sofa :o

Happy Birthday Ms Moneypenny - forgive me if I miss the coatstand with my hat today :)

Use the loreal coupons. I got hair spray two for £3.50 _50p to pay. Foaming wash. £2.63 so 13p to pay. I used SSM vouchers for lenor and Venus shaving gel. That's your first tenner.
