The code has been removed by Abcon as it is a code that should not be published according to the Tesco terms & conditions.

I appreciate that faced with being sued the site cannot do other than remove these codes, however the site is primarily designed to support the customer rather than big business.

Much the same applies to air flights, holiday accommodation and other services. It's extremely annoying to find you've paid full price for something and the person next to you has paid a fraction of that simply because he was aware of discounts freely available to certain people but not others. I wonder if having a "code" mailing list of MSE friends, as opposed to publishing to codes online would be a suitable alternative.

I've been stopped from offering to post free paper discount vouchers and tickets won in a competition, freely available to friends, to other users as this might allow an unscrupulous MSE'er to collect addresses of other users, and while I understand the site must act responsibly it seems to me that complying to readily/easily with the demands of big business will soon emasculate the site's virility.
