My daughter needs a new guitar case as has damaged her existing one. She has asked for a fibre glass one. Bit unsure as want her guitar protected as is worth £1200 just wondered if anyone could recommend a place to buy one. Local guitar shops here (edinburgh) do not stock them.
Thanks

Try these people. Their cases are as good as it gets.

Just searched for Music shops in Edinburgh - found this at Rikkis - http://www.rikkismusic.com/epages/BT3146.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT3146/Products/chord-guitar-case-127127
Also there is a guitarguitar in Edinburgh, check out their website - http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/hardcases.asp - they seem to have a good selection.
Hope that helps.:D0 -

That's the maker's website, by the look, but I can only find actual stockists in Canada.
If you fancy setting up a small retail business, you could consider getting the minimum order number from the maker, and be the sole stockist in the UK ...0 -
I did too but the case (not with guitar in it) fell off a low table and one of the locks broke in the process:(0

If it is only the lock damaged have you tried contacting hiscox as they may stock spare parts such as locks. Most are secured via pop or blind rivets and you can buy a pop rivet gun for around £20 and instructions for riveting on you tube. You can get the old rivets out with a dremel type drill. Sounds complicated but quite easy and potentially alot cheaper than a new case.
We've just replaced the wheels on my daughters tuba case using the above (£4.95 for wheels plus gun vs £400 plus for a new case).
