Hi i have had some incorrect information on my credit file from Equifax removed.
I have also received my Expreian report but they show the incorrect details. What is the procedure with Experian and does one not update the other?

No they do not update each other, they all operate independantly. You'd probably also be best advised to check callcredit to see if the error is on there as well.
Experian have an online form on their webiste you can complete regarding errors / disputed information on your report.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks Tixy.
Is call credit credible as the other 2?0 -
Callcredit (also known as noddle) is the other main credit reference agency. It is a bit smaller than the other 2, but it is an agency that some lenders use to judge credit applications (and to report credit behaviour to).
So it makes sense to check that one as well in case the error is showing on there.
You can check online for free (noddle website) or buy a statutory report for £2 (callcredit website).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
