Previous houseowner Loan still registered at address -AA Personal Finance

Aa personal finance refusing to deregister loan from our address. We are the homeowners and have lived here almost 2 years. They say they need the authorisation of the loan holder.

My questions:

How will the loan registered against my address affect me?
Why can't they deregister - do I have a DPA case for inaccurate informational and harm and distress?
Is this normal?

1) It won't affect you at all. Other than you might be annoyed at getting the post.
If the loan is not in your name then it does not appear on your credit file.

2) A creditor is obliged to send certain information to a person's last known address. If they don't have a new address to send statements / changes in T&Cs / default notices / court papers etc then they will keep sending them to yours.
Just keep putting them back in the post unopened to 'not at this address'.

Have you registered on the electoral roll? and checked the annual canvas paperwork that only you and your family are showing on it?

How do you know what's in the mail if it's not addressed to you?

Just return unopened to sender, eventually they'll get the hint.

yes it is normal, pop them back in the post marked appropriately.
Do not open them, it is not your mail and therefore illegal.
You are not under any harm or distress, move along with your life.

Crack a smile and be thankful that they aren't addressed to you and dont affect you in any way whatsoever.
