    you cant put it in a mug directly as it is for use in a cafetiere so it doesnt dissolve.

    unfortunately you would end up with grainy coarse coffee if that makes sense?

    Make Turkish coffee. Strong and sweet and grainy.

    Two heaped spoons of coffee and 2 of sugar in a mug (or scale up quantities in a jug). Wait for the coffee to absorb hot water and sink to bottom of mug. Drink. Spit out coffee grains. Sorted.

    Or use a strainer?
