you cant put it in a mug directly as it is for use in a cafetiere so it doesnt dissolve.

Two heaped spoons of coffee and 2 of sugar in a mug (or scale up quantities in a jug). Wait for the coffee to absorb hot water and sink to bottom of mug. Drink. Spit out coffee grains. Sorted.
