Samsung galaxy tablets reduced tesco

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 16GB for £298, added some batteries to get it to over £300, used the £30 off electrical code and Quidco 3% (~£10 cashback). Also 2000 extra clubcard points. Hopefully Samsung will also honour the £50 cashback offer as it is still being advertised on the website, and on further inspection it looks like they are letting people claim for dates after 30th September so looks like they may have decided to extend the offer but have not written it into the terms and conditions. Anyway if they refuse to honour it it will be getting sent straight back!!

Hi Amus - can you link to where have you read about them letting people claim for dates for purchases made afer 30th Sep, as if the deal has been extended then I'm keen to order one.

You're not getting confused with the "claim window" are you, ie. the period during which you are allowed to log your cashback claim which is 30-45 days after your date of purchase ? It says claims submitted before 30 days or after 45 days from the date of purchase will be marked as invalid. This ties up with the 30th Sept purchase date cut off - 45 days later is 14 Nov, which is the cut off for claiming.

Here's the extract of the promo T&C's from their website :

"2. Qualifying Display and Tablet purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 1st of August 2012 to 23.59 on the 30th of September 2012 (inclusive). Qualifying Notebook, Print and SSD purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 15th of August 2012 to 23.59 on the 30th of September 2012 (inclusive). The claim window will close at 23.59 on the 14th of November 2012 for these products, all claims received after this date will be marked invalid. Qualifying Chromebook purchases must be made from 00.01 on the 15th of August 2012 to 23.59 on the 31st of October 2012 (inclusive). The claim window for Chromebooks will close at 23.59 on the 15th of December 2012, all claims received after this date will be marked invalid.
3. Claims must be made within 30 - 45 days from the date of purchase, for the avoidance of doubt the date of purchase on the invoice or receipt counts as day 1. Claims received outside this period will be marked as invalid and will not be entered into the promotion."

I went onto the Samsung website and clicked on the link for cashback as if I was going to make a claim. There is a dropdown list where you have to select the date of purchase, and if you go onto that list it had 1/10/12 and 2/10/12 on it. Im assuming this means that they are allowing claims for this date? Like I said though if they wont honour it I will be sending the tablet back!!
