Jam trickle bake?

My friend just asked if anyone has a recipe for what she remembers her mum calling a jam trickle bake. I have no idea, but I wondered if anyone here knows what she means?
"It was a sponge type cake with Jam in it but it was all baked together I think and the jam put on it before baking"
"I remember when she cut it open it looked like the jam had been drizzled through it"
Thank you x

That's what I suggested but she seems to think it's more involved than that. Perhaps rose tinted spectacles are in action lol0 -
I'd say a sponge mix with jam warmed up so it's runny, then swirled through the mix before baking. Kind of like raspberry ripple ice cream.0

Was the jam definatly swirled thrugh or might it have been a Jam Roly Poly type thing?
I could really fancy that now I've thought of it!0 -
Or is it a kind of jammy "magic pudding" where the jam is put on top but ends up on the bottom?
(but I have to admit that I don't know how to make those....)0 -
I think she's going for the melted jam way.
Thank you all for your replies.

How right you are!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
