Hmv cambridge £1 trade in for any dvd!

Hi all. I apprehensively took 36 crappy dvds i paid 10p for in CEX to HMV cambridge (new store near the Grafton centre) expecting 50p an item but got £1 per DVD. This was paid onto a gift card but what a bargain. They took titles such as "training your sheepdog" lol. So long as the dvd is a UK title and has a barcode the guy said they take em

PS- I KNOW I WILL BE SHOT DOWN AS THIS HAS BEEN POSTED BEFORE BUT IM SURE I READ HMV WERE NOT GIVING £1 PER ITEM. WELL HMV CAMBRIDGE ARE

Me neither, is this to any store? Even 50p sounds good for some of the old ones we've got lying about!

I think most stores will give you 50p at the managers discretion (from what ive read on the forums here and at hot deals). its a trial apparently which started as £1 per dvd and went down to 50p in most places. As i said Cambridge give £1 no bother at all

I Couldnt see anything on their website. They basically buy at 50p-£1 at selected stores and sell for £2
