Hi All,

I thought I had done the clever thing when I got a 10 pack of sponge scourers for £1 in IKEA... But oh how wrong I was! They don't last and become manky very quickly!

I remember I had a couple of Vileda ones that I probably bought for around that same price and lasted significantly longer... But I was wondering if there is something mid-way? Maybe a pack of 4 decent ones?

Any recommendations?

BTW, I mean something like this:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I've bought the vileda ones too, and think the Tesco scourers do a reasonable job for much cheaper

This may sound mad but asda do smartprice ones -5 for 14p - thats almost disposable prices!! sponge with a scourer top.

Depends what you want them for - i use mine to clean the bathroom sink - get about 5 uses out of them

The morrisons 5 pack cheapie ones (about 20p a pack) are always ok for me, you shouldn't keep your scourer for too long as they are a heaven for germs. Never had a prob with them.

I've tried the Asda smartprice, Morrisons cheapy and Tesco ones - I prefer the Tesco everyday value, they seem to last longer than the other 2. I never buy expensive ones - the OH is a bleach fiend and that kills them quicker than anything!

    Thanks!

By popular suggestion, I'll give a try to the Tesco ones :money:
