Leaving College Course Funded by JSA

Hi,

I have recentky started a part time (3hrs a week) night course at my local college, this was meant to be £800 but I didn't have to pay as I am on JSA.

However, I have just been offered a job which clashes with the course and although I would love to continue the course, I am in no position to turn down work and will be starting the job next week.

My question is, will I be charged for leaving the course? Please note this was not a course suggested by the job centre and had nothing to do with me being on JSA.

Thanks in advance :)

  • You could be charged the cost of the course by the college although this is unlikely. You may be charged an admin fee. Best to contact the college or read the T&Cs on the enrolment form (may be online as well).
