Holiday shopping for diamond ring

Hello all,
Not sure if this would be considered the best part of the forum for my question - apologies if it isn't.
I really want a three stone diamond ring to go with my engagement ring. I was thinking of tying it in with a holiday next year to the USA and have had Zales reccomended to me. Their website looks good. I was wondering if anyone has used them before or if there was another chain out there they'd reccomend. More generally where would be a good place to go to get the most for your money if you could go anywhere in the world?
