G Shock Watch

Hiya my husband has wanted a G Shock watch for a very long time and I really want to get him one this year. I have been shopping around to find the best deals. Occassionally one pops up that is obviously too good to be true. Does anyone know of a reliable stockist or know of any offers? He has worked so hard this year in a job he hates to support us so I can stay at home with my babies and really does deserve it. If not it's ok. Thank you for reading. x

I bought my husband a G-shock watch about 7 yrs ago and it went to Iraq twice and countless times on military exercise. He wore it every day and still does.

He has a second, but wears the original more. Both bought from Argos and the watches are excellent value.

You can get the GW-M5610 (which looks just like the very first G-Shocks) with solar power and atomic time for only £89 at Amazon.
or you can get the GW-6900 (also a classic G-Shock look with solar and atomic time) for £70 also at Amazon, do you know what type of G-Shock he would like? there are also analogue and ani/digi watches plenty to suit all styles, but as G-Shock watches go the 5600 and 6900 are the classic styles.

If you decide to buy from Amazon you can sign up for the Fashion newsletter to try and get 20% off which some on HUKD say can be use on watches, if you try and it works on watches would you mind posting back or PM'ing me saying it did as I am also looking to buy a watch.

Thank you. I tried the amazon newsletter for fashion but it didn't work. He generally doesn't mind which one he would get. The purple ones were his favouite. I'm gonna keep scouring the internet looking for a code. I WILL find one

Also be wary of fakes that are sold on certain person to person trade sites, all the major sites, Amazon, Watchshop ect. are perfectly legit though.

Another place to look is Makro and Costco they sometimes sell G-shocks at a cheaper price.

I have to say, I have had two G-Shocks, with one the battery lasted about 6-7 years, the other one is about 6 years old and the battery is still going! I love them as watches and the protectors across the "screen" have saved them many times over!

Thanks Jayme1. I was definitely worried about fakes. I remember a few years ago the problems with fake GHD and UGG boots. Something I wouldn't want to chance. I shall check the sites yourself and others have mentioned.

Enterprise 1701C Brilliant help. They have a facebook page with daily discounts. I missed one but I can get 7% off which is great. I think I'll keep an eye on it.
