Hi ecoverbee, i'm wanting to join but am going to join in November, fresh month, fresh start and all that:) I'm setting my goal at £3 a day so £90 for the month and am aiming to save it up in my overpayment pot for the mortgage.
  • Morning all

    Ebay....£22.12

This month I have had a lot of work on and find I didn't really have time to list items etc.

so hopefully keep on plodding and November will be better.

    Take care all.

Woo! How long did it take if you don't mind my asking?

I am waiting for my £25 cheque and my free phone cradle.

I have just done a £10 MS which will count towards November's total, and have two more booked in for next week. I have taken a day off work to take my car to the garage and try and do some money making.

I have had an email for a sale on Green Metropolis too, will cash that out and that will probably be on next month's total unless it comes through quickly!

I have also booked a tattoo removal session (£40) but am hoping to pay for that out of MS proceeds over next month.

Never mind carbon neutral, I want to be spending neutral!
Maybe 2 weeks from completing it. Did you fill out the form? I'm still waiting for the cradle too.

  • I have filled in the form so I suspect I'll have to wait another week or so - it'll give me a head start for November!

Have got some ebay items ending today - it seems really slow, only one with any bids on :(

£32 in the bank today from MSing. Includes a bit of reimbursement but as that was for things I'd have bought anyway, I'm counting it all. Not taking off tax anymore for the purposes of this challenge as I don't think I'll have to pay it as only working part time and being on Mat Leave for lots of the tax year anyway, I don't think I'll be up to my personal allowance so won't have to pay it :D But I do still pop it into a separate account anyway just in case, but should mean it seems like a nice little bonus for me rather than paying it to the beloved Tax Man!!

Hopefully, if the person who is meant to be coming to give me £25 and take away the last of all my 0-6 months baby clothes from Facebook turns up, then I'll have reached my target nice and comfortably in time for the end of the month. Fingers crossed, but definitely not holding my breath...
Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £170
  • I really need to get motivated and re-join this challenge next month!! I did really well at it previously!!

My maternity leave officially finished yesterday and I am now on unpaid leave... I live in NI but work in the republic of ireland - so I only got 26 weeks maternity leave! I have an option to take an additional 16 weeks unpaid!

I will keep reading the thread until the end of the month and start a fresh next week when November starts!

    My month's been a disaster.:(

However, I've got 2 items now selling on Ebay so at least it's something rather than nothing.

Going to get my butt in gear for next month as I've so much to pay out and with both my kids having birthdays in November and Christmas looming I need all the cash I can get my hands on.

    Roll on November for me.
