Overdraft and DCA!

Hello there, i am not sure if anyone can help. I am a young woman and have had a bank account with the cooperative since i was tiny! I ran into a few debt problems a few years ago which i ignored for a while (it is rather scary) and these are now being resolved. However, one of these debts was to my bank! It was a £200 overdraft that i got along with my bank account type. This was passed to a debt collection agency, and i have almost paid it off. i just want to know, will they have closed my bank account down?
Thank You.

I think the best thing to do is phone the bank and ask them if the account is closed, if it went to a DCA then chances are it has been closed, but always worth asking first.
Been here for a long time and don't often post0
