Buying BTL through limited company

There are 2 directors in a limited company. One is in his early 50's and the other mid 20's.
If the person in his 50's is the sole shareholder but there is an age limit of 65 for the mortgage will the bank still lend for 25 years when there is a director in his mid 20's?
Why do banks still require minimum income for directors when buying through a limited company, even though the limited company has sufficient income?
