Thats expensive for 2 tyres............have you shopped around, or do you have a very large car? I've just got tyres formy Zafira at £29.99 each, from ETS, and Hi Q have a Tyre sale on at the moment.0

Dont beat yourself up about the tyres. Tyres are something you cant economise on or at least not too much because if you do you are compromising safety. If you need them then you just have to have them and pay later. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hi,
have you anything that you can sell on ebay/amazone to raise the money for the new tyres. If you list something to sell you this weekend will hopefully have the money in a couple of weeks at the latest. This might give you a bit of breathing space for this little cashflow problem this month. Buy next month hopefully you will be in a better position with the saving other MSE can come up with.unneccesary spend challege £10 this week £4 petrol for day out0 -
Looking at one above post im interested in the poster who said about virgin media im paying on average £90 for the phone broadband top spec and the bogscrubber tv package0

Sorry folks ...
Have disappeared for while as been scratching own head again following up a few things that you have said - thanks so much for suggestions:T
Youre right tyres are a necessity but will defo try and sell stuff to afford! Desperately been searching for camera cable to download piccies onto Ebay:mad: DD & DS claim to know nuffin!
Quidco Home Insurance would be fab, (£125.00 cashback!!) but lookin thru paperwork for current insurer think I stuck with them til expires now (not til Feb next year  stupid.. stupid..) Never mind, live and learn. Seems as I paying DD they spread cost interest free but if I cancel they will ask for part payment of policy (bit like loan I guess).. dunno will look into more...
Added up Bank charges too to see if can reclaim - have to say reading others stories, feel maybe not worth it in my case - have loan and credit card with bank too and would be scared they say ok pay us back now if I try..
Still - do feel much more positive about things now found this site - so thanks to all of you lovely lot that listen :j
