Not entirely true - members of the sesame mortgage network do not have a panel and therefore are true whole of market, and members of the Pink mortgage network have a panel of about 60 lenders i.e. most of them, but can go off panel and recommend any lender they like so long as it is justified i.e. it was the better product for the client.
Directly authorised intermediaries are not panelled whatsoever, and can access exclusives through mortgage clubs such as premier mrotgage services and Legal and General, but they are not always privvy to the network exclusives as the AR's of mortgage networks areI am a Mortgage Adviser
