6.4.07 what small DFW/MSE thing will you do/have you done today?

Morning folks

Looked for this thread but couldn't find it, so here's goes my efforts (curtesy of darling hypno).

Let us all know what small step you are taking today towards becoming debt free. This could be something that you think doesn't make any difference but reality is that these are the things that can form good habits that in turn lead to becoming and remaining debt free!

Personally I can see this thread becoming more and more like the daily o/s thread - love that idea and think the above should be our motto!

Today I
* am getting the bus into town to see a poorly friend
* shifted some money around and made an overpayment on loan
* squirreled some money away for Christmas

That's all folks!

  • Have stuck a gammon shank in slow cooker and will be making parsley suace to go with it. Shank making soup as it cooks - big dinner tonight and pot of lovely ham & split pea soup for £1.39 - bargainsville!!!!!!

This morning I have phoned my phone and internet provider and combined my phone and broadband package saving £10 per month. Have also been told that once their cheaper service is offered in my area over the next few months I can save another £10 so a good saving there.

Am going to get the breakmaker out later and make some bread.

Going shopping and only buying what is on my list.

Cancelled some DD's that are no longer in use from my bank account.

Thats about all for me today, hope you all have a good day.

  • Hi
Today I am washing clothes at 30 degrees and line drying them. I am also going to take pics of all the stuff I'm listing on Ebay this weekend.

I'm so bored at the mo (DH is revising for finals  ), I have to try and keep myself occupied to prevent spending money. I may tidy my shoe cupboard...

    so far today I have,
*tidied up the garden so I can invite friends over for a bbq on sunday and save me money on going out for drinks
*hung out my washing to dry
*decided not to take a cake over to a friends house this avo, we are both on 'diets' so it's good for wasitline as well as wallet
*staying in due to working the weekend so no spends on booze, unless I pick up a bottle of lemonade and drink in the house.

that is more than enough for one lovely friday!
