Got mine delivered last night. The guy only brought 6 bottles of Lindemans Bin 40 as the Bin 50 was sold out. I started to complain then noticed the receipt. £25.02 for the wine, £5 delivery then minus the £20 voucher. £10.02 for 6 bottles of Bin 40! £1.67/each! Result.

I had some Bin 45 over xmas and it was one of the nicest wines I've tasted but I can't for the life in me find it for sale anywhere now :(

I got it from the Co-op originally but they no longer stock it.

I think the Bin 50 is a Shiraz and 40 is a Merlot, but I can't remember what 45 was, probably a Cabernet Sauvignon as that tends to be my preferred red, but whatever it was it was nice :)

    I also like the white bin 65, a Chardonnay I think ;)

My delivery was due yesterday between 10am 12 noon. At 12.05 I rang to say I had a hospital appointment at 1pm (which was true), so had to leave home in the next few mins.
The CS man was quite rude and said "so why are you ringing? Its only 12.06!". I was really shocked! He told me to contact my local branch and "sort it out yourself".
When I got home about 5pm, I had an answer phone message saying they'd called at 12.35. I rang the local store 3 times, they assured me each time they'd call me back in the next 10mins to let me know what was happening.
Needless to say, no-one did. So about 8pm I emailed to complain.
9.40 last night, ring at the door and a delivery man with my wine. Not even a curtisy (?spelling) call to say it was on its way.
Today the local store called to apologise. They refunded my £5 delivery, taking my 18 bottles of wine down to about £1.70 per bottle!
So all's well that ends well..................

Mine was over 2 hrs late LilacLillie...with no apology or explanation icon8.gif

The wines have turned out to be a mixed bag (or box!!)...

The Tesco Australian Red @£2.56 per bottle is quite palatable
The Marques de Leon @ £1.95 is pretty rough but OK as a spritzer

Overall not bad for an average of £1.63 per bottle icon10.gif

    that is really bad!
I ordered some wine a few weeks ago, and the delivery was fine.
I got it sent to my boyfriends address as i knew somebody will be in to take it. They did arrive early as they were in the area, but said that if nobody was in, they would have come back within our time slot.
At least they gave you an extra £5 off! People can be so rude.

My tesco is very good for deliveries, if they are running a bit late they always call and let me know in plenty of time.
