I'm new here, so sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I have looked and this seems to be the best place for this.

I was thinking about trying survey sites to get a little extra money, but I have been told you need to declare it or something.

So do you need to declare it and how do you do it? Walk me through it please. I'm clueless on this so I need all the help I can get.

  • u have to pay tax on any income above your tax threshold, about 8100 ish. Do you earn more than that?

I'm 16, not working, and survey sites won't get me anywhere near the tax threshold, but it was my understanding that it still had to be declared, even if it is below the tax threshold.
