M&S are trying to address this at the minute

I love my Duo boots.
The zip tag broke on one pair after 18 months & they send me a new tag first class post. Excellent customer care.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
I looked at the M & S site, and it doesn't really address the problem, as it seems to relate shoe size to calf size, and it only goes up to 40cm calves -that's not much good, not what I would call 'chunky' size.
Luckily I live near Bath, so will be going into Duo tomorrow, they look excellent quality.0 -
have a look at simply be they do a range for both chunky and super chunky calves.

I have this problem, Evans are too big most other places too small! I've just ordered some black suede boots from clarks, the style is called Majorca Villa and theyre lovely. I also need a bit of a heel and have been wearing ugg style boots for the last couple of winters but they don't offer enough support really.0

i can vouch for j d williams, the legroom boots are the only ones that fit me, other than rare finds in the cheap shops like mentioned previously,

i know in the catalogue it tells you all the different calf widths etc, and last year they included the extra wide ones, but make sure its only the legroom ones -
I'm trying to be a good moneysaver

Would recommend Shoe Tailor - even provide a measure, so you can pick width.0

Clarks do some boots suitable for wider calfs. You can get 20% off full price adult shoes just now by typing BOOST at the checkout.0

Just wanted to recommend a particular pair of boots as I bought them today!

Available in 4 colours, lace up but with a full length zip too. Perfect if like me you normally live in trainers.
I'm a size 8 and these are UK 8 US 11 (which is more like an 8.5) I have fat calves and these fit me lovely, but because they also lace up you can adjust to fit (with plenty of room for thick socks too).
Fab for winter.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
