Hi,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place! Just wondering, I'm becoming self employed from Monday and will be moving onto working tax credits etc.
my question is, how do wtc work out my income and how much I should receive?
Many thanks

You will have estimated your first years profit when you did a business plan. That is the figure you give tax credits taking into account any taxable income you've already been paid from work etc and the fact there's only half the financial year left. If it looks like being wildly out in a few months, give them a revised figure.
Your tax credits will be worked out the same as someone in employment on the same annual income so put the figures into entitledto.com.0
