I have had some business cards printed by Vista Print.

Beware of their special/free offers though. Prices may seem cheap (or free!) at first but once you add delivery, removal of their advert on the back, better quality card, extra designs.. the price will go up!

I had compliment slips printed last month and business cards this month.
Very good value if you don't get sucked into all the glittery extra's.
Stick to the basics, refuse all the spaecial offers and the service is good.

The postage really makes me smile:
    Do you want your stuff:
    A) REALLY fast for £15 (2 days)
    B) quite fast for £9 (up to a week)
    C) quite slow for £6 (over a week)
    D) REALLY REALLY slow, delivered by a snail on a tortoise, up to 3 weeks for £3.

I opted for the tortoise version and it really did take 3 weeks but I was in no great hurry :D

I got postcards made up as invitations. I took a nice photo for the front, and had text details on the back. Obviously there wasn't anywhere to handwrite anything.

I was very pleased with it all actually. The trick to getting free stuff from Vistaprint is to go to the site, register a profile, create a design and save it, and then leave the site. Very soon you'll start getting special offers emailed to you, and you can just wait for the item you want.

I understand others here have used Vistaprint for save the dates (cards and magnets) and invitations.

I don't even remember the postage setting me back all that much, and the quality was grand.
  • I've used them for my invites etc for my December wedding , great service - upgraded paper to linen finish and while maybe not as impressive as handmade much much cheaper so more to spend on the important stuff
  • yes, can highly recommend. Used them for my save the dates and have just ordered my invites. Used the 7 day postage this time though, couldnt bare to wait 21 days for snail mail again;-)

Used weddingchicks.com to design both, then uploaded to vista print x
  • Really, really cheap!

Okay, the quality is a bit nasty and you'll wait an age (unless you pay loads more) but OMG they're cheap.

  • Just used them for mousemats and key rings - there are lots of hidden charges if you ask me. For uploading pictures and print. The costs are for the actual mousemat and then you have to add the extras on. I had the snail mail though and it only took 6 days, so not too bad there. The quality of the mousemat was poor and too flexible. This was not clear but obviously needed to upgrade to a delux version. The keyring was really big and bulky not like I expected.

Would I use them again, no. I recommend Argos CEWE - for a couple of pounds more, they were really excellent.

    Hope this helps

  • I used them for my evening invites and rsvp cards.

I used the postcards for the invites and business cards for the rsvp cards, all I paid for was envelopes and delivery. I went for the slowest delivery and it didnt take as long as they quoted, and overall I was very pleased with my order.
