Do any of you wonderful people out there have any ideas on this one??
I have a favourite jumper and was stupid enough not to get changed when I did some painting. The jumper is I think an acrylic mix and the paint is that which goes on walls inside.Emulsion I suppose. Any ideas gratefully recieved. I haven't tried anything because I don't know what to use, and the jumper is pink but the paint is bright green. Silly me. Suppose if all else fails I could try and embroider something on it? Look forward to any replies. have to go out now but will look later. thanks in anticipation.

If the paint is still wet hot soapy water is the best thing to remove emulsion. i wouldnt use any chemicals as it will affect the colouring of the garment.0

If it's emulsion paint then it's water soluble and should wash out...It may take a couple of washes to remove it completely.
This earlier thread may have more ideas:
removing paint from clothes?
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.

nail varnish remover has worked a treat, plus a rub through in soapy water afterwards. many thanks to you all. I know where to come in future.0
