Bdini - glad you got through yesterday ok. Your tale of the trampoline reminds me of a novel by Tom Sharpe - one of his characters, a chap called Henry Wilt, has a wife who is not exactly the brightest star in the universe. She went through a keep fit craze and purchased a large trampoline, then invited the next door neighbour round to try it out. Trouble was, it was so big, they had no room in the house .....so she put it in the garden.....in the greenhouse. Neighbour was in hospital for some time I believe...:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I recommend you search for the Wilt novels by Tom Sharpe, they are several years old but absolutely hilarious.
I have to agree with nargle, the Wilt books are hilarious.I think that Tom Sharpe also wrote about a character called Blott, also very funny.

Another Tom Sharpe fan here, I have all his books and re-read them when I need cheering up. My favourite is still Porterhouse Blue, very dated now (nearly 30 years old) but very funny:rotfl::rotfl:

I would definitely recommend them BDINI, I think they're probably what you need atm.

    NSD #30 achieved yesterday

Wow! That's an incredible achievement Freeby :T:T

So ... won't be a NSD today as bill paying / budget sorting day for the month ahead.

Need to get back on track as, after having to unexpectedly change the car in September and also some emergency household maintenance (£330 - not budgeted for :o), I have managed to end up with a whopping OD again :o:(.

Still ..... trying to be positive - I guess getting through without having to resort to loans etc is a positive and highlights yet again how important budgeting is! (and that I've still got a long way to go in this respect!:o)

Have a great day everyone :)
