Helloooooooo all you lovely peeps, just dropping by after a hectic weekend (had guests to stay). Payday today so fridge, freezer and cupboards absolutely chock full of stuff. Really must rein in the spending as that certain time of year is approaching and there are not only presents to buy but also trips in the car using loads of motion lotion to budget for.

Anyway, still on 12 NSDs at the moment, and only tomorrow as a possible number 13, so looks as if I am going to fa..........(NO! Nargle! Bad Nargle! Wash your mouth out with soap, Nargle!)
Let me rephrase that - I will not quite reach my target this month. However, 12 NSDs in a month isn't bad. 13 is even better, if I can achieve it. And November is on its way....

In the meantime, there's what looks like a full moon out there, and Igor is frantically nailing loads of black netting to the ceiling of the ballroom in Ennessdee Towers while he waits for his next batch of turnip yoghourt to finish cooling. Hubert has somehow found his way over here (which one of you lot was supposed to be looking after him this week??) and is pigging out on pumpkin pasties and sticky toffee pudding with Igor's famous vanilla mustard (yes that does say mustard, not custard). At this rate we won't have any food left for the shindig on Wednesday, so must stir myself and start throwing teddy out of the pram (why can't I have an easy life? I do hate being stroppy, but sometimes it's the only way to get things done...)

Hey all. After this weekend i am completely exhuasted. Didn't even have the energy to make what I was going to for dinner tonight. Deff going to be an early night for moi. Oh, but on the positive front NSD # 10 bagged :D Not sure if I'll make target this month but close. Need to be more organised next month with counting spends, esp as I'll be xmas shopping and if that comes out of my xmas budget it's not counted.

popping in to declare another 2 NSDs. This week (we got paid on friday) I did the grocery shop and then split out all the costs for the week and put them in different envelopes. When I've had to spend out of the envelopes (for groceries, lunches etc) then it counts for a NSD. Seems logical to me.

I'm really hopeful that my costs for food this week will be really low as I've planned things well and am making the most of my store cupboard and stretching everything a bit further.
    Trying to keep in budget.
