    Hello everyone, hope all's well.
I've been popping in to catch up on diaries but not much else recently, although I have made a couple of extra OPs, which has been exciting!

    Mortgage (DD/OP/Balance/Daily Interest)
    January 2013: 1149.90/50.10/-258,826.56/21.20
    February 2013: 1149.90/50.10/-258,283.91/21.16
    March 2013: 1149.90/50.10/-257,676.33/21.11
    April 2013: 1149.90/61.10/-257,19.64/21.06
    May 2013: 1149.90/80.10/-256,521.60/21.01

    Easy access savings: £4,559.91/£6,250

SOOO close to breaking the £21 interest per day barrier!! And getting closer to filling our easy access emergency fund too. However, we've had someone in to do some painting and he's going to cost us about £1,250 I reckon, so I've had to shift my easy access target to £6,250. OH has put in some extra hours this month, so hopefully we're nearly there.

It will be so nice to finally draw a line under all the expenses for the house and start to do what I really want to do with the money - OP! I couldn't help myself putting an extra £30 to the mortgage this month, just to practise :D

Been enjoying the garden in the recent nice weather - strawberries, raspberries and blueberries coming along nicely, and now have carrots, parsnips, peas, green beans, courgettes, runner beans, baby sweetcorn, tomatoes and lots of salad leaves growing too! My OH keeps reminding me that it's not saving us money (because we spent money on making raised beds), but if it reduces our weekly shopping bill over the summer then it will feel like we've made a saving!

    Right, definitely time for bed.

    Goodnight all,

    Dragonrider
