Hi all not sure if this is right place to post this question But: I received my credit score today from call credit and they have my identical twin sister linked to me.

Would anyone know how this may have affected my credit score? as in is it likely that I could have got a better deal on my mortgage if I wasn't linked to her?


I have disputed this with call credit and they are currently looking in to having her removed from my credit report.

When you say linked - you mean as an alias not as a financial association?

If she is an alias then its likely that some of her credit accounts might also show on your report? if they did then yes that could certainly impact on credit products offered to you.

It would be difficult to establish and even harder to prove whether you may have been offered better, or even worse, credit deals without that alias.

Its not that uncommon with twins, but can usually be sorted with a bit of time/effort. You will need to check all 3 credit reference agencies to see if all show the same alias, if they do you'll need to dispute it with each agency individually.
