Is Egg's introductory offer only 6 months?

Ive just checked the Egg web site and it states 0% interest until 1 October 2005 on balance transfers....
Is there anyway I can get a 9 month deal out of them?
I want to use it as a mule in the future but would like to stooze the max they will lend me first. Obviously having 9 months is more beneficial to just 6.

Egg seem to periodically update their offer but I thin that it always seems to be 6 months.
You can SBT to the max as you can transfer straight into a current account (all arranged online - no need to talk to anyone). With their anniversary offer (ie one year from start of your offer), you get another 5 months at 0% and then again the following year if I recall correctly (info on their site).
From discussions on here, it is still useful as a "mule" as you simply put the card into a positive balance (ie transfer a non-existent balance) to your new card and then out of Egg into your current account. This may breach the T&Cs of the card(s). If you wanted to keep strictly within the rules, you could SBT out of Egg first and pay a day/few days interest before BT out again (personally I haven't tried any of this yet as still in my promo period - I am sure someone will chip in if I am wrong!). As a result of the promo offer, you could take it for six months, at the end of that get another card to BT to for at least 5 months, then back to Egg on the anniversary.
Hope this helps.

Ok thanks.
I have one further question - let's say during my Egg credit card application I am approved for a 5k loan, I then SBT that into my newly created Cahoot 5.10% savings account.
Now I am required to pay Egg the minimum balance every month (- correct?) Which is what like 2% or something, how do I set up an automated transaction to pay Egg this (for example) 2% every month? Does the Egg online manager allow me to setup such a transaction or what?
Thanks0 -
Set up a direct debit for the minimum monthly amount and the payments will be taken automatically for you without you having to remember.
They had an 8 month 0% BT offer in February
Which I only spotted towards the end of the month so I thought I would wait until March when it would be renewed for a new 8 month period  but since then it has been 6 months

OK thanks.
Now, i've _just_ opened a A&L savings account to stooze into (5.35% gross seems to be the best on the market).
Question, if I were to apply for an Egg card today and request a BT to the max of whatever they would give me, how long would it take Egg to authorise the loan of the money?
This is my scenario:
i) I have a savings account application in limbo at the moment - I have no account number or sort code I can tell Egg to pay into.
ii) Can I apply for an egg card now knowing that it will take them x weeks to authorise the transfer? Or will I be able to transfer the money 'on application' - which is no good since I don't have a good savings account yet!

Well, strictly speaking, you shouldn't stooze directly into your savings a/c, you should do it via your current a/c first anyway (although others have said it is possible to stooze directly into Cahoot, don't know about A&L).0
