Hi everyone, Just wondering if it is a complete no no to be able to get a mortgage whilst in my probationary period of a new job? I started in June and have a 6 month probationary period. Are there some lenders who are more leniant regarding this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

There are lenders who will look to accept you, some require a minimum of 3 months or to have been in consecutive employment for 6 or 12 months so you should be fine as you have been employed for approx 3 months anyway.
You should go and speak to a mortgage advisor, they will be able to help.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you. Will definitely go speak to an advisor. I was self-employed previous to this but doing the same type of work. Is this likely to be a problem? I have a contract with my new job.0
