New Debt Wannabee

Hi people

Fairly new to debtwannabee, but hubby was off work for months due to illness and I have ran up my cards with living expenses. They havent become a problem-yet, but I so want to get them down and pay off a couple of loans as well.

I have done my budget planner and I can have a disposable Income on top of my current repayments if I am careful.

Doesnt help that my ex is now out of work, so I am losing £250 per month.Taking on a casual job to repay, and now its Council Tax payments month too.

Have saved on my car Insurance, thanks to the site, Tv/phone/broadband cut down (I need my car for work), and off to see what else I can save on.

Looking forward to picking up tips from you all. Once I get these cleared, hopefully looking on Mortgage Free wannabee.......:rotfl:

    Welcome.

You have done the right thing by noticing you might go into a problem. I was the other way round. WFTC messed up my payments two years ago and we had to live on credit cards and todate we are still paying it back. Cards are cut up and we are really working hard to pay them off but we have learnt our lesson.

    All the best
