It might also be worth complaining to ICE and seeking compensation for their mistake. If you have to repay then the compensation may go some way to help with it.
Are you in contact/ on good terms with NRP? Is there any chance they would waive the repayment?0 -

It's irrelevant - the NRP will already have had their repayment courtesy of the CSA/Government - the PWC will be repaying the secretary of state.0 -
No sadly the ex had nothing to do with my child and never has.It might also be worth complaining to ICE and seeking compensation for their mistake. If you have to repay then the compensation may go some way to help with it.

Hmmm very odd, so when my ex partner didn't pay his money on time, I was not paid by the CSA....but because I have been overpaid they just hand him a lump sum even though I have not paid the money back yet... seems very odd to me.
Who are ICE? I have never heard of the term before.PreludeForTimeFeelers wrote: »It's irrelevant - the NRP will already have had their repayment courtesy of the CSA/Government - the PWC will be repaying the secretary of state.0 -

I think the term double standards comes to mind. But then you could say that in many things when it comes to separated parents and access and maintenance etc etc....0
