Christmas Jigsaw Puzzle Countdown

Just an idea for you. For the pass 5 years I have been purchasing a Christmas theme jigsaw puzzle, This year I have got a 1000 piece puzzle (£1.99 ebay) and plan to have it finish on Christmas eve. It just adds that bit of fun waiting for Christmas to come.
I was going to add a photo of my puzzle but it won't let me as I'm new.
Could be fun to do with the kids.

Hello and welcome :santa2:
That is a lovely idea, Thanks so much.
I love it when people post stuff about their traditions or ones they plan to do. I keep thinking if/when me and OH have kids I want to do all these things.
Always tell my sister who has two kids 9 and 7 to try and get her to do for the kids but mostly she goes goes yeah and then never does.13 projects in 2013 0/130 -
I always do a few jigsaw puzzles on the lead up to christmas. The charity shops are a great place to pickup puzzles for a few quid.
Picked up a beautiful Thomas Kinkade puzzle the other day from the red cross shop. I'll sometimes go all out and and buy a brand new jigsaw from the yourjigsawpuzzles website now and then... but that's only when I want to spoil myself.
They make great gifts too.0 -
we have lots of xmassy jigsaws and books and bring them down at the beginning of december when the tree goes up we spend hours making and reading:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

We also do this, we don't watch a lot of TV so having a jigsaw on the go is a must. Started in 2009. Found the pics infact...

It's a lovely one. Get all our puzzles from charity shops and ebay usually!0 -
Cobblestone Christmas started today.
We normally wait to December 1st but we go away on December 18th this year rather than later on so got less time to complete it! 0 -
We do something similar, but it is a Christmas Day gift so the challenge is that we complete it before new year.0
