Red or brown?

Age old debate for me as I constantly switch and can never decide:o

I need to dye my hair but can't decide to go red or brown again,or even what shade.

Help me decide?:o:rotfl:

Pic of me in avatar to help but I'd relaxed my curls there!

  • I think a cool dark brown with no red tones, be careful with obvious red it can be very aging or chav like.

    I agree with Hughjass!
You are very naturally pretty and you dont need to go for "unusual" hair colour to turn heads. A cool light brown would look great.

  • I would stick with brown, with long hair

My hair is dye red (to cover the grey), but it is very short pixie cut.

Red, I receive regular compliments on mine. :D You don't look old enough for it to be ageing, IMO looking chavvy depends on the style and condition of your hair and the rest of your appearance.

I would stick to brown too, don't you find black makes you look rather pale? A slight reddish hue with the brown won't go amiss if you're in between the 2.

I know the feeling!!! Most natural shades of brown have a hint of red, usually only noticeable in the sunshine if you know what I mean. I tried black once. I must admit I looked rather ill :rotfl:

Red :D I'm naturally strawberry blonde now (was red as a child). Recently died it red (very ginger red) and have had so many compliments and everyone says it looks really nice. I still get comments from people who've complimented it before saying how much it suits me.

    Be brave ;)

FYI, I'm using L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in Amber (a non-amonia temporary one) (google images: https://www.google.co.uk/search?num=10&hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1166&bih=985&q=l%27oreal+casting+creme+gloss+amber&oq=l%27oreal+casting+creme+gloss+amber&gs_l=img.3..0j0i24l2.1125.1125.0.2125.1.1.0.0.0.0.31.31.1.1.0...0.0...1ac.1.NK9C5kilBFk

It's quite dark at first (very gingery in sunlight). Mine fades to a nice light ginger shade, prob cos my hair's quite blonde underneath though.
