Freddie's Poem

A puppy love member rescued some ex stud dogs from a Puppy farm, below is a poem written by Freddie's (pictured below) mum

My little boy Freddie what have they done
You are as thin as paper and covered in sores
A gash in your leg as deep as the bone
Come my little one I am taking you home

You eyes as frightened as any I’ve seen
Your body is shaking your tiny bones showing
My god little one where have you been
Your legs don’t work so on your belly you crawl
Fear and trauma is all you have known

They beat you and starved you in every which way
Used only to stud then thrown away
The money they made from you baby boy
Then like dirty old toy they threw you away

Kept in the dark completely alone
Cold and hungry right through to the bone
Angry words and crashing sounds
The farmers cruelty to you knew no bounds

Hush baby boy for all that has gone
Safe in my arms no more harm will be done
Your trust I have gained, your love shines through,
Your beautiful eyes say “I love you too.”

Yay for Freddie having found his human Angel.

Karma will catch up with the puppy farmers. They will rot in Hell.

Nope sorry and yes it is, the things these poor wee souls have to endure in their sometimes all to short life is terrible, I was reading on one of the site's ( think it was facebook ) that only 5% of puppy farmed breeding stock ( horrible way of putting it ) are liberated from these places. I count myself very luck to be mum to an ex breeding girl.
  • I too have a Lhasa Apso who was a breeding b!tch. She was 3 when I got her and was terrified of everything. She's 8 now and unfortunately has gone blind. I have read that this happens a lot to puppy farm dogs as they never see daylight and therefore their pupils never contract.

I wish there was some way of stopping these cruel places once and for all. x

I'm so sorry your girl is now blind but I'm really glad to hear that you've had her for quite a while, I keep reading about how a lot of these poor souls don't have long life's after they have been liberated.

My Ellie is a Bichon and she was 3 when I got her, she's a fantastic wee dog, she would be perfect it I could get her to stop barking so much and if she would also stop attacking my 30 year old son, I would also like to get her to sit on command :p, she just keeps walking backwards until she walks into something.
There are a few places that are dedicated to getting these hell holes shut down, Puppy Love and C.A.R.I.A.D. are just two of them but there are many more, they will not stop until puppy farming is no more.
