Hi All,
I'd love to go with my Mum, has anyone else got any promo codes, would be a massive help (just started the wedding planning and everything is WAY more expensive than I thought - so every penny counts!0 -
I'd like to go on the Saturday too, but is it any good? £15 is pretty expensive

Get there as soon as possible, I found my dress at the NEC show and in the morning could swing by and try on dresses whenever but the later it got I had to book specific timeslots to try on dresses.
And if you don't fancy queuing for a minimum of an hour at least, take a packed lunch, as you can take your own stuff! When I went the first time the goody bag was marvellous (and they gave you more than one) I went again (won tickets) and it wasn't so good so it's hit and miss. But there are some good freebies to be had on the whole. Not so good for bridesmaid dresses though. Only saw a handful in the Berketex stand, and you weren't allowed to try them on

I'm also back from show today. A tip would be to stay until the end as the hour or so was really quiet.
TBH I found the day quite disappointing, I certainly wouldn't pay that much again to go.
I enjoyed the day as it was a nice day out, and it was good to try on a variety of of dresses all in one day, but other than that I felt that there was a big lack of other things to do / see. There were no where near as many cake / invitation / flower suppliers as I expected, and there was a lack of stalls with unique ideas for favours / centre pieces etc.
Maybe I just expected too much but I thought that base don other shows I've been to at NEC, that there would be anything and everything to do with weddings there and I didn't feel there was.0 -
My daughter & I thought there was a lot there.Though very disappointed with the lack of bridesmaid dresses.
she enjoyed the Catwalk show and found a good flower stand called Silkblooms who have a website. She thought the prices were quite reasonable.
She also bought something for her hair.2013
