This come up on my facebook wall so looked out of curiosity. Basically just sit there in the nude and don't move, but you have to have English and Maths qualifications! Seriously, what is the world getting to?

And the literacy & numeracy quals are seen as "essential" whereas experience in life modelling is only "desirable". Seems weird. I used to do some life modelling and can't remember ever being required to speak, read or do sums on the job!Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0

I went to this college before uni, so between 2007-09. I did art and we had a life model. I don't remember her requiring those levels of qualifications. In fact i'm certain all she needed was the ability to stay still and not be easily embarrassed.
Perhaps this is a way of stopping any tom (ahem) !!!!!! or harry applying?
Or perhaps it's a standard form. Who knows. Either way our model was never tested on her numeracy or literacy!0
