  • Hi :j

It might be worth considering a spending diary, as those little coffee's or magazines soon add up. It also makes you re assess what you really need to spend money on. It can seem like a hassle in the beginning but I hated adding to my spending diary, when I spent money. After a while, writing things down and checking receipts became second nature.

Hope you get a buyer for that car.:)

  • I do not drink coffee and I read books but I will try this spending diary.

Today is a good day because the sun is shining and my car is sparkling and I think it will sell.

A very big thank you for your kind help :)

Proud to have dealt with our debt :)
  • The car has been sold and my debt will be reduced by £28500. I think I am very lucky because three people came to see my car and two wanted it very much and had the fight to buy the car. On Tuesday or Wednesday the money will be in my account and immediately I will use to pay off credit cards.

Another gadget is sold on ebay yesterday and a friend of my family would ask me about selling some thing which is not for sale but I will consider.

I have challenged my self to pay off my debt by the first of January. I do not know if this can be possible but I have the optimism.

A very big thank you for your kind help :)

Please make sure that the cash is CLEARED IN YOUR ACCOUNT before you hand over the keys. I have known of at least one person on here, who lost a 9000 pound car because the bankers draft was a fraud. So make sure the funds are cleared (maybe even transferred to another bank account so the payment can't be reversed), before you hand over the log book and keys

Wow that must be some car!

That's a very ambitious challenge but you have had a great start, well done :T

Please take chevalier's excellent advice about ensuring you are paid before handing over anything, you can't be too careful these days :)

  • The car is a Morgan and I was offered £25000 by the garage but because the two people wanted it I have made more money and this is good.

The money will be transferred from bank to bank and we have the same bank so it may be done tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest date now. I thank you for concern about this and my friend will check every thing before we give the car and the papers.

My family friend will now buy some hi fi and this will make more money for my debt. Every thing is very good and more things will be for sale tomorrow.

A very big thank you for helping and supporting me :)
