I just wondered whether anyone has started to gain any further qualifications through their employmer and how they approached the subject.....Also cost - Is it all through you or does your employer help ?
Thanks!

Working for a college it is a big part of what we do. The approach to staff development is far beyond anything I have experienced in any other industry (public & private sectors). Contact whoever is in charge of your HR/development or speak to your immediate line manager about your plans for the future and work out what training is available to fill any skills gaps. Depending on circumstances, your company may be able to get funding for the training.0

Yes, I work for a national charity. Initially discuss your training/development needs in supervision/line management. My employers have fully funded my Masters.0

It completely depends on the employer - Mine has a full development/study support intranet site which tells you what it does and does not fund and how to apply. I would contact your HR department/immediate manager to see if they have such a policy.
I'm currently studying for a Diploma in insurance and my employer is covering the costs in full, I should actually be revising now...
You should also be aware that it may be a condition of your employer paying that you remain with the company for a set period after completion. I am tied for two years unless I pay back a all/part of the cost if I leave before this time.0
