Ugg boots that have got wet in the rain

Options
Hi I went out today wearing my uggs and they got abolutely soaked when it started to rain. Since getting home I've laid them on a towel on the radiator but they are looking dark and feel a bit hard. Any tips on how to return them to normal?

Thank you!

  • Sorry to read about this.

This is normal for Ugg boots.

This happend to me too moneypuddle, when I first bought mine a few years ago. I just stuffed them with newspaper and just let them dry naturally, and they returned back to normal.

After that experience, I went and bought some "stain and water repellant" spray, which I use once a year, as winter and/or wet weather approaches.

  • let them dry then brush with a suede brush , will take the hardness off and fluff them up again :0)
  • Reminds me of the time I dyed my feet black on the day of my daughter's wedding because we'd gone for an early morning walk on the dewy grass.

I'm the one in the photos with the scrubbed sore looking feet and black toenails (not really :p). God bless nude court shoes.

My Uggs came back to good just by letting them dry thoroughly and then wearing them. That soon knocked any crispiness out of them.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
