If she's a coeliac she should be able to get some food-stuffs on prescription - a friend of mine always jokes about the chemist phoning him to say they've got his bread in!

I would say to get her over to https://www.entitledto.co.uk to check about benefits, as she should surely be getting some! It does look bad though, especially as there's nothing in her SoA of TV license, clothes, birthdays etc, which is no doubt where the credit card debts have come from.

Thank you for all this advice. I will print out this page and show it to her - and we will give the tax credits people a call, definitely.

Very good advice about thee prescription food - lets see if shes entitled to it!!!

The TV licence is paid by her partner too (but he is in £7500 debt I think as well, and would not even consider my or anyone else's help…. Too proud - thank god they have separate finances…)

And of course the credit card debt came from makeup, presents, creams, travelings, clothes… horrible situation.
    Total debt £3625.07. :o
