Some people do have strange financial priorities. Sounds to me as if the OP has champagne taste on beer money, and not much beer money at that.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

At the same time though OP, and I've crossed lines with you on this subject before, don't borrow what you can't comfortably afford to repay.
I've got what I've got because I work a lot more hours than you and probably earn a lot more than you. Working 16 hours a week on a £2k loan, unless you have at least half this going through the account each month (which I highly doubt, as you'd be earning £19/hour to have that), isn't going to cut the proverbial mustard with the banks, I'm afraid, as I told you a few months ago.

I'm 19 years old and now work 16 hours a week and no one will accept me for a £2000 loan. I need it for redecorating my room.
Are there any alternative sources to gain funds for this type of project besides the mainstream lenders?
Thanks
Ill have to agree with everyone else, ask if you can work extra hours at work, stick to a budget each month and only spend what is neccessary and whats left you sweep into another account/dont spend and in a couple of months you could have the money you need to decorate your room.
Yes it is a shame you cant get a loan but thats good isn't it ?
Now i remember, the OP wanted a loan that didnt require a credit check back in may.0 -
Are you able to increase your hours, or are you working 16 hpw to enable you to keep receiving benefits?0

£2000 for a bedroom?
I decorated my entire flat, including plastering of two rooms, new carpets, new blinds, new bath panel and (admittedly cheap) furniture for £2000.Mortgage 1: May 2012 £90,000 April 2020: £47,000

£89 for a budget bed, £9.99 for some curtains, £40 for a carpet. £60 for paint and other bits and bobs.
£1801.01p for a holiday in Sha***** oops i mean Magaluf with my mates who have money because they work full time and dont have loans?
£2000 for a single room when you dont have £2000? If its needs plastering the home owner will have more chance of getting loan. After all its their property.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

No seriously, what other people have said. Save up or learn and do it yourself. Doesn't need to be perfect.0
