Mortgage Application - ID Query

Hi, we're in the process of putting through a mortgage application but my wife has not utility bills with her name on at our current address. Does anyone know what would be an acceptable alternative? She has older letters from around 12 months ago for credit card and loans, but we paid them off so don't receive anything like that anymore.
Any advice welcomed.
Cheers,
JR

I have recently put in a mortgage application and they have come back requesting more id from me i have sent in my name and present address a bank statement, council tax bill, tv license, credit card bill and water bill. previously i believe they received from me gas bill, electric bill, previous years council tax bill and a copy of my passport. Hoepfully they have enough to be satisfied with now!
However if in doubt contact the mortgage company to establish what they will accept. I just wanted to be safe and send as much proof as i could so things wouldn;t be delayed any more than necessary.

I don't have any utility bills in my name as I live with parents. I had applied with Alliance and Leicester last year and they didn't ask for proof of address at all, just three months payslips. Have just applied for mortgage with Abbey and they asked for 3 months payslips and last months bank statement. I think bank statements usually do. I only think you get asked for lots of forms of proof of address if you're not on the electoral register and lender wants to check your residence.0
