Quick query - am I going to be taxed more doing 2 part time jobs than if I was doing just the one job?
One job is 18.75 hrs and the other is 10 hours.
Thanks

Your personal tax allowance remains the same no matter how many jobs you have so once your earnings go over that, you will start to pay tax.0

Thanks Torbrex, quick simple answer

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with the definitive answer but in the meantime - you may need to get your personal allowance split between the 2 jobs unless one is above your personal allowance. In which case your full code most likely should go against that job, with a code of BR against the other job. Be careful to make sure that you do not get your full personal allowance against both jobs or you could find yourself with a bill at the end of the year.0

You might even save on your NI: that's calculated per job, so if your earnings on one is less than c. £100 pw you won't have to pay that. As it's a % calculation, you can be better off with two part time jobs rather than one f/t.Signature removed for peace of mind0
