  • Went into Argos this morning. Picked up the books but they scanned at £3 still. Queried the price and the girls asked the Manager. He said he knew nothing about the reduction in price so I told him he could put them back on the shelf!

Will be interested to hear if anyone gets these at 79p. Good little buy if they do.

SERIOUSLY? hmmm. Right. Im not in work til friday, but I reserved 3 so will check when I go back in. Sorry about this. :undecided my manager printed out price list for wednesday and it showed 79p. hmm

Glad I saved you the trip, nothing worse than making special journey for nothing. There are none in the Argos in Cardiff Bay either :)

Trust me to reserve something and miss out on that, although knowing my luck they wouldn't be in the Belfast stores lol. Thanks anyways :-)

You're not the only one to miss out with Argos, i bought a microwave the other day and asked were they doing the £10 vouchers and told No, the following morning got an email to say they are back on for a few days.

Still £3 in Reading, was very embarrassed the Manager was called and I was asked where I heard this from 'the internet'? Said my cousin worked in the Bristol store and they were 79p in her store, he looked on the computer and said wow they were 25p now they are £3. Good luck to anyone who gets them at this price :)
